Chapter History

The Phi Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi is located at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. This chapter was established on June 7,1923. This is the twenty-first chapter of Kappa Delta Pi.

International History

Kappa Delta Pi is the international honor society for the College of Education. It was established at the University of Illinois in 1909.

The emblem of the Society shall be a key in the form of a scroll pierced by a stylus, upon which scroll are imposed a beehive and the letters KDP.

The motto of the Society is "Knowledge-Duty-Power".

The colors of the society are jade green and violet.

The flower of the Society is the violet.
